We are a training center. Our counselors have either completed or are close to completing masters or doctoral training at local graduate schools, and many are Registered Interns. They receive weekly supervision and training from highly skilled, licensed professionals.
Living Success Center functions as a training site. Graduate trainees develop their assessment, interviewing, listening, and counseling intervention skills as they work with clients under the supervision of LSC staff. Weekly staff clinical meetings provide important supervisory forum for counselors-in-training. Trainees participate in the LSC's Outreach Programs, developing and providing psycho-educational workshops for the community.
If you are a graduate student in counseling, social work, or a related field, and are interested in applying for clinical training at LSC, please call (949) 645-4723 and speak with Marianna Thomas.
