Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I make an appointment?
A. To make a therapy appointment or enroll in one of our support or therapy groups, call us at (949) 645-4723.
Q. Is there a limit to the number of times I can see a clinician?
A. No. Our treatment services are not time limited, which allows us to provide in-depth, long term psychotherapy as necessary. Referrals to private or community services may be provided.
Q. Is there a fee for seeing a clinician?
A. Yes. However, our fees are based on a sliding scale based on income, number of people in the family and ability to pay.
Q. What if I have a preference about the kind of clinician I want to see?
A. If a patient has a preference about the kind of clinician they would like to see (male, female, etc.), we will do our best to accommodate their request.
Q. Will what I say be kept confidential?
A. Client information is confidential within ethical and legal guidelines. Information can only be released with the written consent of the client, except in situations where a client poses a threat of serious harm to self or to others, or in the case of abuse/neglect of a minor, or in the case of a court-ordered release of information.
